05/31/12 Grif.Net – Recent Experiences

Busy month so checkin’ my diary. In May . .

I stopped by the BMW dealer’s, but I left quickly when I saw the prices! It
was a near-debt experience. I wanted to say “Beamer up, Scotty.”

I read the classic book about paying alimony. It was called “The Bounty on
the Mutiny”.

I went to a seafood disco last week, danced with a shrimp and pulled a
mussel.

I watched the Indy 500, and I was thinking: if they left earlier, they
wouldn’t have to go so fast.

I went to the General Store, but they wouldn’t let me buy anything specific.

I was walkin’ down the road and a hearse stopped and asked if I needed a
ride. I said, “No thanks, I’m not going that far.”

I met an older woman at church wearing pierced hearing aids.

I was walking in the woods and saw a rabbit by a candle making shadows of
people on a nearby tree.

And finally, I was driving thru Casper about 75 miles an hour. A young cop
stopped me and asked ‘why?’ So I explained, “I had my foot to the floor. It
causes more gas to flow through the carburetor. That makes the engine go
fast, which makes the wheels really go.” Man, these young cops sure don’t
know much.

Check in again with you end of June.
