Dr. Bob shocked the congregation when he announ=
ced that he was resigning and going to Minnesota to help a struggling colle=
ge.
After the service, a very distraught lady came to the pastor with tear=
s in her eyes. "Oh, Dr. Bob, we are going to miss you so much. We don’=
t want you to leave!"
He patted her hand and said, "Now, now, Car=
olyn, don’t carry on. The pastor who takes my place might be even better th=
an me".

"Yeah," Carolyn said, with a tone of disappointment =
in her voice. "That’s what they said the last time, too."
