The m=
ost unique tea I ever had was in the little town of Mercy, Australia, in th=
e Outback near Ayers Rock.=A0 The caf=E9 said they would make tea out of an=
ything we ask for; if they can’t, then lunch is free. Sounded like a =
challenge.
I asked if I could have tea m=
ade from the koala bear. The waitress didn’t even blink.=A0 In a few =
minutes she returned with a cuppa, overflowing with koala bear. I look at i=
t and saw an eyeball floating, chunks of hair, and horrific smell. It made =
me sick just looking at it, so had to ask, “Why didn’t the cook=
remove animal parts and fur from the tea before sending it out?”
She simply replied, “The koala tea of=
Mercy is not strained.”
