I was at my kid’s spring soccer game and struck up a conversation with
another parent on the sidelines.
“Say. Will you look at that young kid with the short hair and blue shorts
out at midfield. I’m wondering if it’s a boy or a girl. Hard to tell, isn’t
it?”
“It’s a girl. She’s my daughter.”
“Oh, I’m really sorry, sir. I didn’t know that you were her father.”
“I’m not. I’m her mother.”
Think I might not make the next game.
