08/31/12 Grif.Net Blog – Advice to Live By

Here is some sanguine ‘advice to live by’ from my yoda-like years of
experience. Remember, you heard it here:

If at first you don’t succeed, try the outfield.

Silence is golden, duct tape is silver.

Therapy is expensive. Bubble wrap is cheap. You choose.

The cost of living hasn’t affected its popularity.

The early bird may catch the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Don’t be ‘that guy’.

My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.

It is easier to get forgiveness than permission.

If you look like your passport picture, you probably need the trip.

Rub some dirt on it.

A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.

The speed of time is one-second per second.

It’s not an optical illusion. It just looks like one.

Don’t cut your own bangs.
