10/01/10 Grif.Net – Dieting Tips

[Returning from 2 week vacation including a CRUISE, I found myself in need
of a diet. Teresa had gained back a little of the nearly 50 lbs she’d lost,
but started losing again quickly on restarting the HCG Cord Diet she has at
her clinic. So I made the commitment of 21 days to the HCG Cord Diet. I am
6’6″ and can carry weight, but was within a few ounces of 320 and that was
too much. (Can I get an “Amen”?)

Monday 8 am was 319.8. Thursday 8 am I was 309.1 – YOU do the math. Go to
www.phr.net and click on the large pix/diet info and join me. Or at least
laugh with me with the following “Diet Tips” that I’m learning]

The most fattening thing you can put in an ice cream sundae is a spoon.

It’s not the minutes spent at the table that put on weight, it’s the
seconds.

It’s something most of us do religiously: We eat what we want and pray we
don’t gain weight.

The problem with curbing our appetites is that most of us do it at the drive
in window of McDonalds.

Sweets are the destiny that shapes our ends.

Diets are for people who are thick and tired of it.

The toughest part of a diet isn’t watching what you eat. It’s watching what
other people eat.

The best exercise for losing weight is skipping … snacks and desert.

Most people gain weight by having intimate dinners for two…alone.

A diet is what you go on when not only can’t you fit into the store’s
dresses, you can’t fit into the dressing room.
