On a recent Caribbean cruise we had the chance to visit the caves on
Barbados, the only island in the region that is not volcanic and has these
amazing underground features.
The wife and I noticed another couple from the ship and she seemed very
frightened. She asked, looking for reassurance, our tour guide: “Are there
any bats in this cave?”
The guide answered: “There were, but don’t worry, the snakes ate all of
them.”
Not sure that helped.
