restaurant was preparing brunch for Christmas. The Eggs Benedict looked =
scrumptious, but there was no bright shiny platter large enough on which =
to properly display them for the buffet.
An ingenious =
kitchen staff member had an idea and quickly ran outside, returning with =
a gleaming old hubcap off a vintage auto. He cleaned it up carefully and =
showed the head chef.
When asked how =
he ever got such an idea, the worker said, “I always thought there =
was no plate like chrome for the =
hollandaise.”
