08/26/21 Grif.Net – Wisdom from your Elders (part 7)

**When I ask =
for directions, do not use words like =
“east”.

**My luck is =
like the bald guy who won a comb.

**Don’t =
bother walking a mile in my shoes.  Walk 30 seconds in my head; =
that will freak you out.

**Sometimes, =
somewhere, someone unexpected comes into your life that makes your heart =
race and palms sweaty and changes you forever.  Back in our day we =
called them cops.

**The longer I =
preach, the longer I preach.

**I live in my =
own little world. They know me here.

**Many senior =
citizens feel life is on the downhill and they’re not even on the =
ski slope.

**To be sure =
of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the =
target.

**Some have =
lost the art of conversation but not, unfortunately, their powers of =
speech.

**All of us =
could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to =
criticism.

**When you =
forgive, you in no way change the past – but you sure do change =
the future.
