08/05/21 Grif.Net – Wisdom from your Elders (part 4)

[Teresa and I =
feel that age is a high price to pay for maturity, but it beats the =
alternative.  Here are more thoughts for those who still have teeth =
to chew on]

**60 might be =
the new 40, but 9:30 is the new midnight.

**I’m =
retired. I didn’t intend to do a thing today and so far I’m right on =
schedule.

**Just when a =
mother thinks her work is done she becomes a =
grandmother.

**There is =
absolutely no good reason to ever act your age.

**There is a =
super-hero inside every one of us, but it takes courage to put on the =
cape.

**Old age is =
like everything else. To make a success of it, you’ve got to start =
young.

**Life is a =
moderately good play with a badly written third =
act.

**Never try to =
teach a pig to sing, it wastes your time and annoys the =
pig.

**An =
archaeologist is the best husband any woman can have. The older she =
gets, the more interested he is in her.

**Wisdom =
doesn’t necessarily come with age. Sometimes age just shows up all by =
itself.
