11/17/10 Grif.Net – Thoughts for the Week, pt 3

No one ever says ‘It’s only a game” when their team is winning.

Money can’t buy happiness, but it sure makes misery easier to live with.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as warning to
others.

Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy
enough people to make it worth the effort.

Give a man a fish and he’ll ask for a lemon. Teach a man to fish and he’ll
leave work early on Friday.

The president of today is just the postage stamp of tomorrow.

Start off each day with a smile and get it over with.

Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction has to make
sense.

Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit
there.
