An older doctor passed a cute young staff member in the hospital corridor.
He cauterize and winked at her. Intern, she winked back. Age was creeping
up on him and he was morphine into a senior citizen, but vowed to trach her
down for a date. He didn’t want to needle her or make advances in vein, but
he felt he had the pulse of this situation and put his heart into it. He
was sick he’d let opportunities slip by in the past and wound up losing
patience with himself. This time he would get up the nerve and ask.
Sadly, she turned him down. So he just smiled and said, “Suture self”.
