Many loyal readers know that I’m nearly 6 feet, =
6 inches tall. ‘I’m just average height’, I always =
joke.
A friend came up to me very angry. He blasted =
out, “You told me the secret of your being so tall was to rub =
grease on your chest each day. Look – I tried your method and got =
smaller! It didn’t work.”
Kindly, I asked him what sort of =
grease he had tried. He admitted that all he had at home was =
Crisco.
So I had to remind him, “That won’t work =
for growing taller. It says right on the can it’s =
shortening.”
