My favorite part of any email you send is the line that follows your
signature: “Jesus Knows Me, This I Love!” I read it every day in every email
you send.
When my older son was a very little boy, he used to sing, “Little ones to be
Him long.” At first, I tried to correct him: “It’s ‘Little ones to Him
belong.'” But then I thought about it a bit and decided there was a profound
insight in my child’s slight rearrangement of the lyrics.
Yes, every day I long to be more like Jesus. We still sing Jesus Love Me
that way sometimes because now I’m “Gran” to my son’s children. And I still
tell this little story. Brings a smile to my face every time.
