A highway patrolman pulled over a trucker. “I’ve observed your driving for
a number of miles and everything was safe and legal. I am pleased to tell
you you’ve earned a special Safe Driver Award that our state gives to one
driver each month. Congratulations! What do you plan to do with the $5,000
award?”
The trucker thought a minute, and then said, “I think I will finally get my
driver’s license.”
The guy in the passenger seat said, “See, I told you we’d never get far in a
stolen truck.”
And a muffled voice from trailer called out, “Are we across the border yet?”
