During the =
long winter in western Wyoming, two ranchers flooded a low-lying field =
and made a skating rink for their families to =
enjoy.
A shepherd =
accustomed to crossing the fields decided to take a shortcut across that =
low land to move his sheep to an open pasture. But instead of an easy =
trip, he found himself with his flock sliding and skidding over the =
newly-frozen area.
One of the =
ranchers called his neighbor to tell him what was happening. =
“You know that old shepherd who always tries to sneak across our =
land? Well, this year I think he’s learning a lesson about =
trying to pull the wool over our ice.”
