05/03/21 Grif.Net – May’s Goodest Word Plays

[On the first =
weekday of the month, we try our hand at humor.  Many wish we would =
fold our hand before playing.]

A thirsty =
prospector in the desert visited creek after creek only to find them all =
dry. Sadly, he just went from one ex-stream to =
another.

Parallel lines =
have so much in common that it’s a shame they’ll never =
meet.

In Georgia =
they mix garbanzo beans, tahini, olive oil & garlic in a huge wooden =
bowl and serve on grits. They say it’s because they live in the =
Southern Hummus-sphere.

On an =
unrelated note, I found it really takes guts to make sausage. =

Genie: What is =
your final wish?
Bob: I wish I were you!
Genue: That us weurd but =
alrught.
