I thank You for the bounty of food spread across our tables =
this Thanksgiving time, but help me to remember the hungry whose empty =
stomachs will remain empty all day.
I thank You for the measure of health and strength You give, =
but help me to remember the sick, the bereaved, those who have little =
hope and no strength left.
I thank You for the many friends and family I join to =
celebrate this Holiday Time, but help me to remember the friendless, the =
widows and orphans, the aliens who have no one or =
nothing.
I thank You for the freedom I =
enjoy in America, but help me to have an open heart to the enslaved in =
evil dictatorships around the world and in abusive shackles of their own =
making.
I =
thank You for the gift of Your grace, saving me thru the Blood of Christ =
from a hopeless life now and hopeless eternity to come, but embolden me =
with courage to share this grace to a world in =
need.
May this remembrance of Your love =
and provision stir me to love and serve You with all my heart, that Your =
gifts invested in me may bring eternal dividends of love and service to =
others.
