Today is Memorial Day, a =
time to remember and reflect on those who have given ‘the last =
full measure of devotion’ in defense of our nation. We pray. =
We read Bible verses. We think about heaven. We embrace families who are =
not celebrating with a picnic at the beach, but rather walking in a =
garden of stones.
The (un)American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) =
recently closed it’s only office in the State of Wyoming in Cheyenne in =
recognition of the fact that they are not welcome in a place where =
American values and love for country are still held =
dear.
Evidently a picture circulated of Marines in =
formation in silent prayer. It showed all the Marines were bowing =
their heads. (to liberals, that’s what normal people do when =
we pray) This incident took place at a recent ceremony honoring =
the birthday of the corps, and it had the ACLU up in arms. =
"These are federal employees," said Lucius Traveler, a =
spokesman for the ACLU, "on federal property and on federal time. =
For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and we must =
nip this in the bud immediately."
When asked about the ACLU’s =
charges, Colonel Jack Fessender, speaking for the Commandant of the =
Corps said, "Screw the ACLU. God bless our warriors. Send the =
ACLU to Afghanistan and then watch those **** =
pray."
May God Bless America, one Nation under =
GOD! BTW, what was really wrong with the picture? ABSOLUTELY =
NOTHING!
