lunch?"

he was always very good with their baby daughter, there were times when =
the wife wanted him to think for himself without always bothering her. =
This was one such occasion. "It’s up to you," she replied =
disinterestedly. =
"There’s plenty of food in the house. I’ll tell you what – why don’t you pretend that I’m not =
at home?  =
What would you do then?"

"OK," he said and went away.

As she =
was getting out of the shower a minute later, =
her cell phone =
rang. Her husband’s voice said: "Hi, honey, how are you? What =
should I give =
Lily for =
lunch?”
