My good friend Jim asked me what I had gotten Teresa for Mother’s Day a
couple weeks ago. I replied, “I bought her a bag and a belt.”
Jim was shocked, “Really? That was good thinking. I’m sure she appreciated
those.”
I shook my head no as I responded, “I had hoped she’d like them and the
thought behind them, too. She never said much. But at least the vacuum
cleaner works a lot better now.”
