11/04/14 Grif.Net – Voter’s Rights and Wrongs

[I serve as election judge today, so grif.net humor is posted at 5 am. Ugh.
I get to initial ballots (after my co-workers vet each person; we take
elections seriously in Wyoming – this isn’t Illinois) to make them valid.
Praying that Americans will make some RIGHT choices today.]

Overheard at the Polls:

“Every time I think things can’t get worse, we go and have an election.”

“Politicians and diapers need to be changed often. For the same reason.”

“Keep working. Millions of illegal aliens on welfare depend on you.”

“Half of the American people have never read a newspaper, and half never
voted for president. One hopes it is the same half.”

“If God had wanted us to vote, he would have given us candidates.”

“I don’t want to elect anyone stupid enough to want the job.”

“25 years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope. Today we have
Obama, no Cash and no Hope.”

[A new study estimates that less than 30% of eligible American voters will
vote in this midterm election. But on the bright side, 100% of us will still
get to complain about the results.]
