[Gleaned from friends; some of these are funny, most cause a small smile
rather than guffaw. But good advice.]

Only 5% of the world has ever flown in an airplane. Never close the shade.

Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway.

When beauty begins on the inside, it appears on the outside in the most
unexpected places.

If I died and went straight to hell, it would take me a week or two to
realize I wasn’t at work any more.

Not all those who wander are lost.

If you are given a choice between having world peace or having the same
amount of money as Bill Gates, what color would your Lamborghini be?

There is no better test of a man’s integrity than his behavior when he is

I was in favor of the President’s $100 million trip to Africa. Sadly, I
found out he was coming back.
