[Still “celebrating” my upcoming anniversary of birth]

Having lost weight over the past few years, my wife was discarding things
from her wardrobe that no longer fit.

Our granddaughter was watching as she held up a huge pair of slacks.

“Wow,” my wife said, “I must have worn these when I was about 193.”

With a puzzled look, my granddaughter asked, “How old are you now?”

~~
Our grandson is just learning to count. When asked how old he is, he said
“Six” and held up six fingers and counted them off 1-2-3-4-5 and 6.

He asked me how old I was and I said “In one week I will be 65.”

In amazement he mumbled, “Did you start counting with ‘1’?

~~
The sight of my wife cleaning her dentures fascinated my young grandson. He
sat riveted as she carefully took them out, brushed and rinsed them, and
then popped them back in.

“Cool, Grandma!” he said. “Now take off your arm”.
