03/01/13 Grif.Net – Aging with Good Health

[Jack forwarded a couple thoughts on health and aging in honor of my
upcoming 65th birthday, so I added to them for a quick look at the reality!]

Don’t worry about old age. It doesn’t last that long.

I’m so old they’ve cancelled my blood type.

As we age we all could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention
to criticism.

Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

Old age isn’t so bad when you consider the alternative.

Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospitals, dying
of nothing.

You know you’re getting old when all the names in your black book have M. D.
after them.

It’s no longer a question of staying healthy. It’s a question of finding a
sickness you like.

What some call health, if purchased by perpetual anxiety about diet, isn’t
much better than tedious disease.
