I was fishing on the North
Platte and in the frantic activity of trying to =
land a
"big one", my billfold fell out of the jeans into the =
water. I
assumed it was gone for good, but was amazing to see a large carp push =
up to
the surface of the water with the billfold on his nose!
I reached to retrieve it, but the fish snapped its head and the billfold =
went
flying out of my grasp, and right to another fish. The last I saw =
of it,
the fish were playing catch with it swimming down river.
First time I’d ever seen carp to carp =
walleting.
